About the Role

Locum Urology position in Gettysburg, PA at an acute care hospital. Start date: January 4, 2027. Assignment length: 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones and prostate issues.
• Perform various surgical interventions including cystoscopies, nephrectomies and prostatectomies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide consultation services to other members of the medical team regarding critically ill patients.
• Provide patient education about conditions, treatment options and post‑care management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Requirements

Minimum education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school; completion of a residency training program in urology accredited by the ACGME or AOA; fellowship training in a urology specialty may be required.
