Locum Cardiology Physician job in Gettysburg, PA - Make $250/hr - $280/hr

Locum cardiology position in Gettysburg, PA at an acute care hospital. Assignment runs one week starting January 18, 2027. Pay range: $250–$280 per hour. Schedule: 24‑hour on‑call shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (standard 7‑day rotation).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients in various inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans for various cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures (depending on subspecialty).
• Educate and counsel patients on heart disease prevention, risk factors, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals (nurses, surgeons, specialists) to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
• Stay current on the latest advancements in cardiology through continuing education.

• Active, unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
• At least one year of experience providing cardiac care in a clinical setting (preferred).
