About the role

This locum tenens position provides neurosurgery, trauma, and spinal surgery coverage for a healthcare network via Weatherby Healthcare, a charter member of NALTO and leader in locum tenens staffing since 1995. You will have 24‑hour access to your Weatherby consultant, receive competitive compensation, and benefit from paid malpractice insurance with pre‑paid travel and housing.

Responsibilities

• Call coverage 3‑7 days per month with 15‑minute response time
• Average 15 patients per shift
• General neurosurgery, trauma, and spinal surgery required
• Both inpatient and outpatient rounding
• Phone consults 2‑5 per 24 hours
• Ongoing coverage potential
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
