Responsibilities

• 10 - 15 patients per shift
• 3 operating rooms
• Case mix: General, ortho, healthy peds 1 yr and up, GI/endo, eyes
• No cardiac, complex vascular, neuro, OB, or thoracic cases
• CRNAs take first call -- minimal physician callback
• 2 weeks or more per month -- ongoing coverage

Schedule

• Monday‑Thursday: 6:30 am huddle, cases 7 am – 3 or 4 pm
• Backup pager call each night Monday‑Thursday and weekends
