Locum Tenens General Surgeon

Seeking a versatile physician for a clinical and hospital-based role with responsibilities including inpatient and outpatient care, admissions, and rounding. The position involves 10 on-call shifts per month with coverage of elective cases, and 3 clinic days within a 10-day period. Core duties encompass general surgery for adults, pediatrics, and trauma , laparoscopic procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty , and GI endoscopy including upper, lower, and sigmoidoscopy Preferred skills include chest wall, breast, and hand surgery as well as ventilation management Hospital privileges are required. The role offers paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
