About the role
Seeking a versatile physician for a locum tenens role with inpatient and outpatient coverage.
Responsibilities
- Providing scheduled clinical care with call duties, including beeper call with a 30-60 minute response time
- Managing adult patients, with pediatric cases preferred
- Performing laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy and cholecystectomy
- Handling liver surgeries and ventilation management
- Inserting central lines and chest tubes
- Maintaining hospital privileges and ensuring patient safety
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in adult patient care and surgical procedures
- Experience with hospital-based interventions and ventilation management
- Ability to perform central line and chest tube insertions
- Must hold valid hospital privileges
