About the role
Locum tenens physician coverage focused on emergency general surgery (EGS) across multiple hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Perform laparoscopic surgeries including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
- Conduct chest tube insertions, vascular, and peripheral vascular procedures as needed
- Provide system-wide EGS call coverage
- Manage 8-20 patients per shift with 3-5 daily admissions
- Maintain professional standards and manage assignments via an online portal
Requirements
- Experience in laparoscopic surgery and related emergency procedures
