About the role

This position involves providing inpatient and outpatient coverage with scheduled clinical hours and call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to beeper calls within 30‑60 minutes.
• Manage adult patients (pediatric patients preferred).
• Perform laparoscopic surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and liver surgeries.
• Ventilation management, chest tube placement, and central line insertion.
• Handle both scheduled and emergent cases, demonstrating proficiency in surgical and critical care procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hospital privileges are necessary.
• Pediatric surgery and trauma experience are preferred.
• Ability to manage critical care procedures and emergent surgical cases.
