Locum Tenens General Surgeon

This role involves providing inpatient care with responsibilities including rounding and call coverage, primarily during weekend shifts from Thursday evening to Monday morning. The provider will see approximately 8 patients per shift and handle about 3 phone consults daily. Key duties include performing trauma surgeries, chest tube insertions, and central line placements. Experience in trauma surgery is essential, while endoscopy skills are not required. The position requires proficiency with Epic EMR and ongoing coverage from multiple providers. Qualifications include relevant trauma surgery experience and clinical skills in invasive procedures.
