Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

This role involves providing outpatient and inpatient care in a busy clinical setting, with responsibilities including performing upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, sigmoidoscopy, foreign body removal, variceal injection, and PEG placement. Responsibilities Managing approximately 20 patients per shift in a mixed inpatient and outpatient environment, including rounding.Performing various gastrointestinal procedures and interventions.Responding promptly to weekend call duties with a 30-minute response time. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy.Skills in sigmoidoscopy, foreign body removal, and variceal injection.PEG placement experience is preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and respond efficiently to calls.
