About the role

This locum tenens position involves providing inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform upper and lower GI endoscopies, PEG placement, and esophageal dilatation
• Interpret liver biopsies and manometry results
• Manage approximately 12 patients per shift
• Respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes
• Provide on-call coverage with an 8-12 patient caseload
• Deliver high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
