Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist

This role involves providing inpatient gastroenterology services in a high-acuity setting, with responsibilities including rounding on assigned patients, managing 15+ patients per shift, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP and EUS procedures. It requires supervising Advanced Practice Providers and handling 5-10 admissions per call, with the capacity to see up to 15 patients per shift. The position demands expertise in colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube procedures. Key qualifications include proficiency in ERCP and EUS, strong clinical skills, and experience supervising providers. Key duties encompass patient care, procedure performance, supervision, and coverage coordination.
