Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the Role

An experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA-C is needed for inpatient coverage in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the OR for cardiothoracic cases, including vein harvesting, and serve as a first assist.
• Cover night call, including emergency cases and phone consultations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in vein harvesting.
• Prior experience in cardiothoracic procedures.
• Current Nebraska or Compact license.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR (preferred).

Key Duties

• Support the surgical team in the OR.
• Perform vein harvesting.
• Respond to emergent cases during night shifts.

The role is focused solely on cardiothoracic procedures.
