Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the Role

This locum tenens assignment provides coverage in a 150-bed community hospital with 10 operating rooms. The clinician will deliver inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER coverage, focusing on quality patient outcomes across surgical services, particularly cardiothoracic cases. The patient population is adult.

Responsibilities

• Hospital rounding and clinic management
• Performing surgical procedures
• Maintaining clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system
• Providing OR and ER coverage

Schedule

Primarily day shifts with call and 24-hour call obligations.

Support

The role includes a dedicated OR team, perfusion support, scrub staff, and first assist. Additional support services such as credentialing, job matching, and dedicated deployment assistance are provided for a seamless experience.
