Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery – Minnesota license or IMLC required.

Schedule

24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• General Thoracic surgery
• Coronary artery bypass surgery
• Congenital defects
• Aneurysm repair
• Lung resection
• Chest Wall or pleural procedures
• Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries
• Permanent pacemaker placement
• AICD
• TAVR
• CABG
• Vent Management
• Bronchoscopy
• Central line placement
• Arterial line placement
• PA catheter placement
• IABP management

Volume: 0-3 patients per day.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• ATLS certification
• BLSS certification

Support Staff

Team includes 2 Surgeons, 1 Medical Assistant, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.

Credentialing

Credentialing timeframe: 90 days.
