Locum Tenens Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a healthcare professional to perform inpatient rounding, diagnostic reads, and interpret echocardiograms and nuclear medicine studies remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to five inpatients per coverage period.
• Conduct echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear medicine reads.
• Perform an average of 200 echocardiograms, 5 transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and 40 nuclear medicine reads monthly.
• Provide phone consultations for inpatient care with no on-site presence required.
• Potential weekend rounding duties.
• Perform inpatient assessments and diagnostic interpretation.
• Deliver high-quality patient care remotely.

Requirements

• Strong diagnostic skills and experience in inpatient care.
• Proficiency in echocardiography and nuclear medicine.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional remote inpatient care.
