Locum | Physician Psychiatry

About the role

Part time position requiring 1-2 onsite days per week plus 2 telehealth shifts.

Flexible scheduling with 6 hour shifts.

Low patient volume with a maximum of 8 patients per day in an outpatient setting.

Hospital privileges required.

Telehealth shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic relationships with patients.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide crisis intervention and consultation services.
• Document patient progress and maintain medical records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice psychiatry.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board certification in Psychiatry.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting.
