A locum tenens orthopedic surgeon is needed for a facility in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Responsibilities
- Call only schedule with flexible availability
- Average 10 patients per shift
- Call averages 5 phone consults and 4 patients seen per 24 hours
- Arthroscopy and total joint replacement preferred
- Joint revision and spine procedures preferred
- Hand procedures and tendon repair preferred
- 10% call back rate
- Hospital privileges required
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery
- Current Missouri medical license
- Experience with arthroscopy, total joint replacement, joint revision, spine procedures, hand procedures, and tendon repair is preferred
