About the role
24-hour call coverage from 7am to 7pm.
Busy and steady patient volume.
Orthopedic traumatologist preferred but not required.
General orthopedist with fracture work comfort acceptable.
Ability to temporize fractures during coverage needed.
Confidence in fracture work required.
Responsibilities
- Perform total joint replacement surgery under supervision.
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current medical license in good standing.
- Experience in total joint replacement surgery.
- Knowledge of relevant medical ethics and laws.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in surgery.
- Board certification in surgery or related field.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong surgical technique and decision-making abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
