Locum | Physician Orthopedic Surgery
About the role
In an inpatient practice setting, this position involves managing an average of 10 patients per shift, with an additional 5 phone consults and 4 patients seen per 24-hour call. A 30-minute call response time is required. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform arthroscopy and joint replacement procedures
- Conduct spine surgeries with and without instrumentation
Requirements
ACLS and BLS certifications are required. No prior experience in total joint replacement surgery is necessary, as training will be provided.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a medical degree and be board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Experience in spine surgery is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential.
