Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Surgery

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and treat medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and manage chronic illnesses.
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Document patient care accurately and provide education on health management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or MD degree, with active, unrestricted license in Washington.
• National certification in relevant NP specialty (e.g., AANP).
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Additional Details

• Schedule: 5 days, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), no call required.
• Position offers competitive pay ($100-$110/hour) and flexible, temporary assignment in an acute care hospital setting.
• Responsibilities may vary based on facility needs and NP specialty.
