Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Surgery

Key Responsibilities

• Performing general surgery procedures, including laparoscopic techniques
• Conducting GI endoscopy procedures such as colonoscopy
• Managing both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Handling scheduled clinical hours with call duties, including beeper call with a 1:1 ratio and a 30-minute response time
• Providing care to an adult patient population
• Potentially involved in trauma and vascular surgeries
• Managing approximately 10 patients per shift

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree in Surgery or related field
• Experience with general surgery and GI endoscopy, including colonoscopy
• Preferred experience in trauma and vascular surgery
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Strong communication and clinical skills
