Responsibilities
- Conducting daily rounds
- Managing high-acuity fracture cases (pelvis, hip, long bones)
- Performing procedures (ORIF, IM nailing, fracture care)
- Handling consults
- Serving as second call with APP support handling first call
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Completed Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
- Active Pennsylvania license
- DEA certification
Key Skills & Requirements
- Experience with orthopedic trauma procedures
- Comfort managing complex fracture cases
- Ability to work in a trauma-only setting without elective cases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Additional Details
- EMR system: Epic
- Call schedule: 24-hour shifts
- Patients: Approximately 10 inpatients daily, with 2–3 admissions and 3–4 cases per day
- No elective procedures, with APP support for first call and rounding
