Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pathology

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret a high volume of pathology cases, including frozen sections and FNA specimens.
• Perform frozen section evaluations and support a busy FNA schedule in coordination with interventional radiology.
• Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports across diverse specimen types.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pathology.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of pathology experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
• Able to manage high-volume workload efficiently.
• Comfort working weekdays with no call responsibilities.

Key Details

• Location: On-site hospital department.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days.
• Workload: Approximately 140 cases daily.
• Pay: $7,580 - $8,120 weekly.
• No call required.
