Locum | Physician Hospitalist

About the role

This position is for a hospitalist in a hospital setting. The schedule is 6:30 am – 6:30 pm shifts, rotating 7 on 7 off, 2 weeks per month. You will see an average of 10 to 12 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• eICU rounding in a collaborative model with intensivist support available
• No procedures required — must be comfortable with codes
• Vacancy coverage — perm recruitment in progress
• No call

Requirements

No prior hospitalist experience is necessary. Must be comfortable with codes and have a strong background in family medicine or internal medicine.

Qualifications

Must be board certified or board eligible in family medicine or internal medicine. No prior hospitalist experience is necessary.

Skills

Comfortable with codes, experience in a hospital setting, and ability to round on the eICU in a collaborative model.
