Locum | Physician Geriatric Medicine

About the role

Low volume — 4 – 5 patients per day with extensive visits
Outpatient geriatric medicine clinic
Team-based environment — interpreter support available onsite
Patient panel: elderly with chronic conditions
Hospital privileges required

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm — no call
• Develops relationships with patients
• Provides extensive patient visits
• Treats elderly patients with chronic conditions
• Works in a team-based environment
• Utilizes interpreter support

Requirements

• Hospital privileges required

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified/Board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Experience in geriatric medicine preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build strong patient relationships
• Knowledge of geriatric medicine
