Locum | Physician Geriatric Medicine

About the role

Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30/5 pm schedule
Avg 3 – 9 patients per day — extended 1:1 time with patients
Nursing home and assisted living visits required — no home visits
Team-based care — interdisciplinary team meetings each morning
Call is 1:7 — mostly telehealth call, routed to experienced RN first
Acute and episodic visits included
Adults only — IM or FM trained accepted
Hospital privileges required

Responsibilities

Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others, years. Some are far from home, others are local.
