About the role
About 4 patients per shift with 1500 annual volume at a critical access hospital in a rural health setting. Single MD coverage with no APP support.
Responsibilities
- ER, inpatient rounding, and emergency OB/C-sections
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Critical access hospital in a rural health setting
- Serve a patient population with rural health experience and emergency procedures required
Requirements
- Absolutely required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Experience in emergency medicine
- Experience in rural healthcare settings
Qualifications
- MD degree
- Current medical license
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of rural healthcare systems
