Locum | Physician Emergency Medicine

About the role

Emergency Medicine positions are needed to provide care to patients requiring immediate medical attention. The position involves working 15-18 shifts per month on 12-hour shifts, with shift times ranging from 7 pm to 7 am, in 4 shifts at a time. The annual patient volume is 22,000. Appropriate support is available from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm, and hospital privileges are required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare providers and staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

• Hospital privileges
• Current Medical License
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program
