Locum | Physician Emergency Medicine

About the role

The Emergency Medicine Physician is needed for locum tenens coverage in Omak, WA. The position involves shifts from 8am – 8pm and 8pm – 8am, covering approximately 1,000 patients per month with an annual volume of 10,000 – 11,000.

Responsibilities

• Manage the 8-room emergency department
• Cover fast track for basic patient issues under mid-levels
• Comfortable managing pediatric patients
• Maintain certifications in ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS
• Board certified
• Spanish speaking is preferred

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in WA
• Must have current DEA license

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in emergency medicine
• Experience with pediatric care
