About the Role
Seeking a qualified Physician Assistant for inpatient cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery in Wausau, WI.
Responsibilities
- Rounding with surgeons and assisting in the OR when needed
- Managing a patient load of 2-6 patients and 1-3 admissions daily
- Performing procedures such as vein harvesting, A-line, central line, thoracentesis, and chest tube placement (preferred)
Requirements
- Experience with vein harvesting and relevant procedures is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Strong clinical skills and teamwork
Key Duties
Provide surgical assistance, patient management, and procedural support in a cardiovascular/cardiothoracic environment.
