Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist

About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for hospital-based coverage in a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will provide anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases, supervise CRNAs, and work within a team of RNs, techs, surgeons, and APPs. The role involves managing neonatal to adult patients in a busy OR setting with approximately 50-60 cases daily, including general, thoracic, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and vent management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for diverse surgical cases in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, techs, surgeons, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Manage anesthesia care for neonatal to adult patients.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Active Ohio medical license.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates possess strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and experience supervising CRNAs.
