Locum Pediatric Anesthesiologist

About the role

Provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a pediatric hospital setting, delivering hands-on anesthesia care for all pediatric case types (excluding head cases) during day shifts. Supervise CRNAs directly in the operating room to ensure safe and effective anesthesia coverage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 100% hands-on anesthesia care for pediatric patients
• Supervise CRNAs directly in the operating room
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in a child-focused environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support a wide range of pediatric cases
• Work on-site without call responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in anesthesiology
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia
• Ability to provide direct supervision in a surgical environment
