We are seeking a locum OBGYN for ongoing coverage near Coronado Heights, AZ. Preference given to candidates with an active Arizona medical license.
Schedule
- Night shifts: 1900–0700
- Approximately 5 shifts per month
- No call requirement
Practice Settings
- Inpatient care
- Outpatient care
Responsibilities
- Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies
- Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
- Perform routine and complicated deliveries
- Vaginal and cesarean sections
- Breech and multiple births
- Abortions
- Vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
- Repair of severe lacerations
Preferred Skills
- OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation)
- Operative gynecology (laparoscopic and open procedures)
- Diagnostic and minor surgeries
- Ectopic pregnancy management
- Ovarian procedures
- Extensive surgical interventions
Qualifications
- Fellowship training
- Active Arizona medical license
- ACLS and NRP certifications
- Epic EMR experience
- Level 4 trauma designation
