About the role
We are seeking a Locum OBGYN Hospitalist to provide ongoing coverage near East Highland Park, VA. The role involves inpatient rounding, on-site evening call, and staying onsite during shifts.
Responsibilities
- Manage laboring patients, inductions, and triage
- Handle ER and floor consults, as well as trauma call
- Follow up with established inpatient OBGYN patients
- Perform 3-7 deliveries daily, with a patient volume of 11
Requirements
- Active Virginia medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN
- Proficiency with eCW and Meditech systems
Schedule
- Shift types: days, nights, and 24-hour shifts
- Up to 11 shifts per month
