About the role
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner with Critical Care expertise for a neurological ICU role in Greenville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient neurological care for approximately 20 beds, diagnosing, treating, and planning rehabilitation for neurological disorders.
- Perform procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures, and ventilator management.
- Manage around 2 admissions daily with a low patient volume of approximately 4 patients per provider per day.
- Provide adult critical care with continuous physician and advanced practice coverage, focusing on neuroscience ICU cases.
- Participate in a schedule of seven consecutive 12-hour night shifts followed by seven days off, with no call responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with acute care certification.
- Active North Carolina license required, along with ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience in adult critical care and neurological procedures preferred.
