Role And Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient emergency care at a Level 2 trauma center, managing 15-18 patients daily.
- Perform procedures such as Breast Cyst Aspiration, Central Venous Catheterization, Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, Thoracentesis, and moderate sedation.
- Work within a staffing model with 2-3 physicians and 24/7 APP support.
- Contribute to patient care in a comprehensive stroke center.
- Manage cases independently with no on-call duties.
Qualifications And Skills
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency with EMR system (Epic).
- Clear background with no malpractice history preferred.
Key Duties
- Perform required emergency procedures and support documentation.
- Manage inpatient cases efficiently in a high-volume setting.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care.
