Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center with 24-hour physician coverage
• Manage medium acuity cases across 10 ED beds, handling approximately 14,000 annual visits
• Utilize EPIC EMR system with Dragon dictation for documentation
• Ensure compliance with certification and licensing requirements, including board certification or eligibility, active DEA, and state-specific CSR if needed
• Possibly accept residents with moonlighting approval and meet case log requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Certification in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS if not ABEM
• Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience
• Active state license, board certification, DEA, and CSR as required
