About the role
Seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a mixed inpatient and outpatient ED setting. The ED manages an average of 41 patients daily.
Responsibilities
- Manage a busy emergency department
- Perform standard emergency procedures
- Work independently with some Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support during day shifts
Requirements
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine (BC EM)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and TNCC certifications
- Documented recent emergency medicine experience within the past 24 months
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Schedule
- Flexible shift lengths (11-13 hours)
- Variable weekly hours
- No rounding or admissions required
- No licensing required
