About the role
We are seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to cover both inpatient and outpatient Emergency Department (ED) shifts in Oregon. The facility has 8 ED beds and 7 inpatient beds, serving a diverse patient population across all demographics. You will manage an average of 41 patients daily, with no rounding or admissions responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population.
- Perform standard ER procedures.
- Work solo with some Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support during day shifts.
- Adhere to credentialing requirements (expedited options available).
- Document emergency services in the EMR system (EPIC).
Requirements
- Board Certification (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and TNCC.
- Experience documenting emergency services within the past 24 months.
- No licensing needed for this role.
