About the role
Provide clinical coverage in a busy Emergency Department with an annual volume of 13,800 visits and an average of 32–50 patients daily.
Responsibilities
- Respond to hospital codes
- Interpret EKGs with cardiology review
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers during overlapping hours
- Stabilize OB patients for transfer
Requirements
- Board certification in ABEM or AOBEM
- Active Michigan medical license
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
