About the role
This position involves providing emergency department coverage across multiple hospital and ED locations, with responsibilities including managing patient care during various shift types, including 12-hour and 24-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high patient volume, up to 50,000 annually
- Assist with newborn deliveries in ED settings without an L&D department
- Provide double coverage at the busiest sites
- Ensure quality care during holiday shifts
- Manage credentialing and privileging processes with support from dedicated recruiters
- Utilize online portals for assignment details and time tracking
Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- ATLS certification
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
