Job Summary

Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across various clinical settings including general, orthopedic, obstetric, and pediatric cases. Work within a collaborative anesthesia care team under a 1:4 supervision model, with flexibility offered through locum contract options.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia services for general, orthopedic, obstetric, and pediatric surgeries.
• Operate under a supervision ratio of 1:4, adhering to the site’s collaborative care model.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in any required on‑call duties as determined by the facility.
• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia (site willing to accept candidates without a Virginia license).
• Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred, with proficiency in general, OB, and pediatric case types.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable.
