Locum CRNA Needed in Northeast Minnesota - 1086

About the role

Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across various clinical settings including cardiac, neuro, obstetric, orthopedic, vascular, head/spine, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases. Collaborate effectively with the anesthesia care team to ensure patient‑centered outcomes. This locum CRNA assignment is for 3‑6 months in Northeast Minnesota (Duluth). Shifts are 8‑, 10‑, or 12‑hour blocks Monday‑Friday and 12‑ or 16‑hour blocks Saturday‑Sunday; call is not required. Credentialing typically takes 45‑120 days, the facility uses EPIC, and supervision follows a medical direction model. Expect 1‑2 longer cases or 3‑4 shorter cases per 8‑hour day.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care for cardiac, neuro, obstetric, ortho, vascular, head/spine, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases.
• Work as part of the anesthesia care team, communicating with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintain patient‑centered outcomes and safety throughout the perioperative period.

Requirements

• Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re‑certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in various case types.
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable.
