Responsibilities
- Manage an average of 6‑10 inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric patients daily in a hospital setting.
- Provide on‑call coverage every night with a low callback burden (physicians serve as second call to advanced practitioners).
- Maintain coverage until a permanent provider is appointed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current hospital privileges.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Inpatient psychiatric experience with children and adolescents.
- Ability to utilize an online portal for assignment details and time entry.
Skills
- Inpatient psychiatric care expertise.
- Hospital privilege management.
- Certified in PALS and BLS.
Pay
Hourly rate ranges from $185.00 to $230.00, inclusive of base pay and potential additional earnings such as overtime and call pay.
Schedule
7 days on / 7 days off rotation, working 7 am – 5 pm onsite. Night on‑call duties each day with minimal callbacks.
