Locum Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Role: Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist providing coverage in a hospital setting with a focus on psychiatric care. Responsibilities Include Providing psychiatric inpatient care for children and adolescentsManaging an average of 6-10 patients dailyWorking 7 days on / 7 days off, with onsite hours from 7 am to 5 pmBeing on call every night with a low callback burden, as physicians are second call to advanced practice providersMaintaining hospital privileges and certifications such as PALS and BLSUtilizing an online portal for assignment details and time entry Qualifications & Skills Hospital privileges requiredCertifications: PALS and BLSStrong communication and organizational skills Additional details: Compensation ranges from $185.00 to $230.00 hourly, including base pay and potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and 24-hour consultant access are provided. This role offers an opportunity for temporary coverage until a permanent provider is appointed.
