Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats
- Perform routine wellness exams and involved medical cases and surgery
- Utilize hands-free radiology techniques
- Practice fear-free techniques when possible
- Work in a supportive and collaborative environment
Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas, or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
Qualifications
- Experience in veterinary medicine is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
