About the role
Saugus Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice seeking an experienced Associate DVM to join our dedicated team. We are part of Community Veterinary Partners (CVP), a network of veterinary hospitals committed to creating meaningful moments between pets and people.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of small animal species
- Perform routine and complex medical procedures under the supervision of the attending veterinarian
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Collaborate with the team to provide exceptional client service and education
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an ACVIM accredited program
- Current Massachusetts license to practice veterinary medicine
- Experience in small animal medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
