Locum Anesthesiologist in OR

Role Overview: This position involves providing anesthesia services in a hospital setting, primarily covering general, trauma, thoracic, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic cases. The role excludes cardiac, pediatrics, and transplant cases, with the acute pain team managing blocks. Responsibilities: Deliver anesthesia care for an average of 133 adult cases per weekday, handling ASA 1-6 patients, mostly ASA 2-4, with a CMI of 2.3. Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain patient safety and comfort.Work Schedule & Duties: Typically Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with 1-3 hours of overtime weekly. Open to Saturday/Sunday 10-hour day shifts, with no night call required.Qualifications & Skills: Must have current medical licensure and anesthesia certification.
