Summary Of The Role The position is for a board-certified MD to provide anesthesia services in a Level III Trauma Center with a diverse surgical caseload, including general, cardiac, vascular, and minor neurological and pediatric cases.Responsibilities include delivering anesthesia under a medical supervision model (1:6), with approximately 50% hands-on involvement, supporting a team of CRNAs and MDs.The role involves working during day shifts in an on-site operating room, with occasional call coverage for emergent cases such as C-sections.Key duties include administering regional anesthesia independently, managing a variable patient load across all ages, and utilizing Epic EMR for documentation.Qualifications include board certification, prescriptive authority, and credentialing clearance, with a focus on quality patient care and safety.The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, adaptability to diverse case types, and the ability to work within a supervised anesthesia model.
